Our email infrastructure is powered by OpenSRS. The OpenSRS Email Service platform is high performance. But what gives it the edge? Three basic premises guided us as we designed and built it. Reliability: Going down or losing email is not an option. We used server virtualization technology to build in reliability and ease of maintenance. The service is housed only in Tier IV data centers to ensure the most reliable connection to the Internet possible. We also have extensive, real-time, 24/7 status monitoring both at the data center and in our own Network Operations Centre (NOC).

How Email Filtering WorksThe Email Filtering Service evaluates each and every email message using the latest in scanning technology to make a determination as to whether the content of the message is legitimate and wanted, or contains spam, phishing attacks or a virus payload. If the message is deemed legitimate, it's delivered to the recipient's email inbox. If the message is deemed spam, the subject line is tagged, and a user-configurable header is added to the message for delivery by your existing mail server your users' inboxes, or designated spam folder. You may also chose to have spam delivered to a web-based Spam Quarantine where the recipient can periodically login to view and review messages flagged as spam. If a message contains a virus, it is simply discarded, protecting your users from infection. |
